USF Polytechnic will be getting an Incubator program called Blue Sky to help the region lure high-tech companies, create jobs, and keep technology workers.

Polk County Commissioners recently agreed to give the program $1 million for the program.

One office will be located in Downtown Lakeland, while the other will be in Winter Haven.

This is a great step for development in Central Florida since both USF Tampa and UCF Orlando have successful incubators.

Applications for USFP's incubator are currently being accepted.
